Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and shipping models in production with hands-on data lifecycle ownership.
- Strong background in applied math, specifically linear algebra, optimization, and statistics.
- Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries including PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging NLP techniques for classification, tagging, or entity extraction.
- Proven experience building or maintaining data and feature engineering pipelines using tools like Airflow, Spark, or Pandas.
- Experience with model versioning and monitoring tools such as MLflow or DVC.
- Working experience deploying models into cloud environments or containerized services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex problems into actionable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and deploy models for threat detection, entity resolution, and natural language-based classification.
- Build and maintain preprocessing and feature engineering pipelines for model inputs.
- Own model monitoring, evaluation, and feedback loops to ensure production accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize models in cloud-native environments like AWS.
- Partner with product managers and domain experts to define success criteria and prototype new signals.
- Maintain thorough model documentation and articulate technical tradeoffs to stakeholders.
