Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and shipping models in production with direct ownership of the data lifecycle.
- Strong background in applied math including linear algebra, optimization, and statistics.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging NLP techniques for classification, tagging, or extraction.
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries: PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost.
- Experience building or maintaining data/feature pipelines using tools like Airflow, Spark, or Pandas.
- Comfort with model versioning and monitoring tools such as MLflow or DVC.
- Working experience deploying models into cloud environments or containerized services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex problems into actionable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and deploy models using structured and unstructured data to power threat detection, entity resolution, and risk scoring.
- Build and maintain preprocessing and feature engineering pipelines for model inputs.
- Own model monitoring and evaluation processes, designing feedback loops to improve accuracy.
- Prototype new approaches and transition R&D experiments into production-grade systems.
- Partner with software and data engineers to productionize models in cloud-native environments like AWS.
- Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to define success criteria and build MVPs.
- Articulate model design, tradeoffs, and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
