Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience.
- Proven experience in developer tools, infrastructure, or platform products.
- Deep domain expertise in CI/CD, build systems, and caching.
- Knowledge of container technology and image registries.
- Understanding of deployment strategies like canary, blue-green, rollbacks, and health checks.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code.
- Ability to contribute to architecture conversations and identify technical constraints.
- Experience setting multi-quarter direction and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Demonstrated ability to think in primitives and platform capabilities.
- Strong communication skills for diverse audiences, from platform engineers to CTOs.
Responsibilities
- Shape build and deploy experiences that scale from prototypes to hundreds of services, supporting both human and AI-agent workflows.
- Set the roadmap and own core outcomes: build and deploy speed, success rate, and time to diagnose failures.
- Define and ship foundational primitives such as reusable build artifacts and application-level deployment.
- Drive build and deploy performance initiatives including caching, incremental builds, monorepo workflows, and build compute capacity.
- Improve failure diagnostics by implementing better classification, root cause surfacing, and observability metrics.
- Engage with customers to identify patterns and determine product prioritization.
- Sequence foundational refactors against urgent customer needs and defend trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Partner with customer success and sales teams on at-risk accounts.
