Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of risk and control consultation processes.
- Experience with operational and strategic risk management.
- Knowledge of key risk indicators (KRIs).
- Experience performing testing or reviews over risk and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with audit support and internal/external audit liaison functions.
- Ability to monitor and translate control deficiencies into actionable plans.
- Ability to stay current on regulatory policy and program standards.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Understand and help facilitate alignment among policies, program standards, work procedures and external guidelines.
- Identify gaps and help drive corrective action.
- Assist in identifying and monitoring operational and strategic risks along with associated Key Risk Indicators.
- Assist in identifying and implementing controls and procedures to mitigate risks supporting operational and strategic risk management efforts.
- Assume liaison role for all internal/external audit support requests.
- Assist in translating control deficiencies into action plans.
- Contribute to the enhancement of governance practices in alignment with risk and compliance frameworks.
- Perform testing and/or reviews over the 1LOD testing program.
- Monitor and escalate open issues and findings to appropriate stakeholders, including senior management.
