Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of professional data management experience.
- Proven experience with Big Data tools like Spark, Hive, Impala, Presto, or Kylin.
- Experience building stream-processing systems using Kafka, Storm, or Spark-Streaming.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
- Strong SQL skills for report development and query optimization.
- Experience with ETL integration tools (e.g., Talend).
- Experience building solutions with NoSQL databases (e.g., HBase, Memsql).
- Understanding of data warehousing, data quality, metadata management, and data governance.
- Experience implementing REST/SOAP Web Services APIs.
Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise data solutions on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, and Data Lake.
- Convert business requirements into technical architecture for Medicare/Medicaid operations.
- Develop, test, and document data solutions using Python, PySpark, Scala, and SQL with automated QA.
- Build data models for claims processing, HEDIS quality metrics, and population health analytics.
- Implement automated reporting, data transformations, and workflows using Databricks SQL and Jobs.
- Optimize SQL query performance and maintain indexing strategies for key analytic data sources.
- Drive analytic collaboration across IT, finance, actuarial, claims, and clinical departments.
