Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience delivering BMS, electrical SCADA, and/or DCIM for hyperscale or mission-critical facilities.
- Deep command of controls data modeling and semantic tagging (Brick, Project Haystack, or equivalent).
- Expertise in northbound integration protocols including BACnet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA, and MQTT/Sparkplug.
- Experience defining data-exposure and demarcation models for secure OT environments.
- Track record integrating third-party/OEM equipment controllers and running factory/site points verification.
- Strong command of sequences of operation, alarm management, commissioning/IST, and multi-vendor integration.
- Proven collaboration with network and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure OT architectures.
- Hands-on experience enabling or operating AI/ML optimization platforms for condition-based maintenance and cooling optimization preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the portfolio controls schema and reference architectures for BMS, electrical SCADA, and DCIM across greenfield and brownfield sites.
- Define and govern master points lists, semantic data models, and data-retention standards for fleet-wide consistency.
- Define customer data-exposure models in collaboration with single tenants, specifying telemetry scope and northbound interface contracts.
- Partner with the Principal Network Engineer to deliver secure OT architectures, segmentation, and demarcation for data consumption.
- Govern third-party equipment controller integration and manage technical relationships with OEMs and development partners.
- Establish data foundations required for AI/ML optimization platforms to enable condition-based maintenance and cooling optimization.
- Lead controls scope through Level 4/5 commissioning, IST plans, and final operational handover.
