Requirements
- 3+ years of professional work experience and passion for generative AI, particularly for agents and coding.
- Deep understanding of using AI to increase quality.
- Fluency in two or more programming languages (Python, TypeScript, Java, or Go preferred).
- Strong experience with concurrent programming, including safe use of mutexes and atomics.
- Experience designing APIs and writing documentation for publicly-available libraries or modules.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or closely-related degree), or equivalent experience writing production-grade software.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand a deep understanding of agentic coding.
- Design and build agentic coding systems that we can trust to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Design and implement Temporal AI SDK features supporting a broad variety of frameworks and libraries.
- Develop a deep understanding of AI application development patterns and techniques.
- Take end-to-end ownership of new features while collaborating with other teams.
- Serve as a domain expert on AI design patterns and provide best practices.
- Engage with the developer community to debug issues and gather feature feedback.
- Write public technical documentation for Temporal concepts and APIs.
