Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years with React Native.
- Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript.
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals: asynchronous programming, event loop behavior, and error handling.
- Working knowledge of relational and document databases including data modeling and querying.
- Understanding of RESTful API design and HTTP fundamentals.
- Familiarity with native iOS and Android platforms and tooling (Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle).
- Experience with automated testing practices (unit, integration, E2E).
- Understanding of mobile security and handling sensitive/payment data.
- Experience owning mobile release processes, app signing, and store submission.
- Experience establishing mobile engineering practices from scratch including CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Implement features, fix bugs, and resolve production incidents across iOS and Android.
- Own mobile initiatives end-to-end including requirements gathering, design, and delivery.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex mobile performance and native integration issues.
- Review code and designs for component structure, navigation, and mobile pattern alignment.
- Evolve mobile engineering standards, CI/CD practices, and testing frameworks.
- Monitor release health and respond to post-release issues using observability tools.
