Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in program/event planning, project management, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Expertise in Zoom Meetings and Zoom Webinar, including polling and technical management.
  • Experience with association management systems (AMS) or member databases.
  • Experience with online registration and evaluation platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or significant relevant professional experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, plan, and manage programs and speakers for courses, meetings, and symposia.
  • Source venues for in-person events and manage catering, room set-up, and AV needs.
  • Operate virtual meeting platforms, including monitoring engagement and training speakers.
  • Compile continuing education materials and manage credit approval processes with regulatory boards.
  • Administer corporate and event sponsorship programs, including invoicing and outreach.
  • Provide customer service to members, sponsors, and speakers via the organization inbox.
