Requirements
- Experience managing and maintaining Salesforce environment (users, permissions, security).
- Proficiency in building and improving Salesforce workflows, flows, reports, and dashboards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system errors, automation failures, and integration problems.
- Experience in data management including imports, exports, updates, and deduplication.
- Ability to translate organizational and business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Experience maintaining integrations with third-party fundraising, payment, and communication platforms.
- Capability to document technical changes and system processes.
- Ability to provide training and ongoing support to end-users.
- Commitment to monitoring platform performance, security, and updates.
- Ability to coordinate with external consultants for specialized technical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Salesforce environment, including users, permissions, security, objects, fields, page layouts, reports, and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, data issues, automation failures, integration problems, and user support requests.
- Build and improve Salesforce workflows, flows, reports, dashboards, and other configurations.
- Maintain accurate donor, prospect, gift, grant, and engagement data via imports, exports, and deduplication.
- Translate fundraising and development operational needs into practical Salesforce solutions.
- Maintain integrations between Salesforce and fundraising, communications, payment, and technology platforms.
- Test, deploy, and document system changes.
- Train and support staff on the effective and consistent use of Salesforce.
- Monitor platform releases, performance, security, and improvement opportunities.
