Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
- Experience in Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong background in warehouse and transportation execution environments.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to client locations.
- 5+ years of SAP Functional experience with deep knowledge of EWM and TM modules (desired).
- Previous client-facing consulting experience (desired).
- Experience working with U.S. Government agencies, Defense Logistics Agency preferred (desired).
- Analytical skills to identify process inefficiencies.
- Proficiency in process mapping.
- Ability to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize warehouse and transportation processes using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Identify system and process gaps within SAP EWM and TM to develop sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to capture requirements and support continuous improvement.
- Create user-friendly desk guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Deliver hands-on, over-the-shoulder training to frontline associates and power users.
- Facilitate communication across the organization to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Support configuration, functional testing, and post-go-live hypercare efforts.
- Establish mechanisms for continuous end-user feedback to inform iterative improvements.
