Requirements
- High school diploma required; College Degree or related work experience preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in Life and Disability relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of life and disability insurance products and processes.
- Excellent verbal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
- Ability to travel 30-50% as assigned.
- Must meet Symetra's remote network minimum requirements: minimum 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speeds.
- Internet must be Fiber, Cable, or DSL; satellite or cellular broadband is not permitted.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic partners.
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships that align with Symetra’s goals and negotiate terms and agreements.
- Plan and execute on annual partner stewardship meetings and broker advisory board meetings.
- Organize and participate in national and regional meetings with designated strategic partners.
- Follow up on key deliverables and track results to build strong ROI for sponsored events.
- Manage partner supplemental compensation agreements to ensure alignment and accuracy of payments.
