Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial plumbing estimating experience
- Experience with New Jersey, New York, or Northeast U.S. plumbing codes
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent plumbing trade qualification preferred
- Experience estimating commercial, industrial, or multi-family construction projects
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and construction methods
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with PlanSwift, Procore, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with digital takeoff and estimating software
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working full-time during US Eastern Time business hours
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate plumbing estimates and quantity takeoffs for commercial and industrial construction projects
- Review architectural, plumbing, and mechanical drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Develop complete bid packages and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing
- Prepare and manage change orders, estimate revisions, and RFI responses
- Analyze project scope and identify discrepancies or missing information requiring clarification
- Ensure estimates comply with project specifications, plumbing codes, ADA requirements, and client standards
- Collaborate with the senior estimator and owner on complex bids and pricing strategies
- Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting strict bid deadlines
