Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience in U.S. Government business development and acquisition.
- Understanding of the biotechnology industry and its applications.
- Understanding of HHS and DOW contracting, decision making, and budgeting processes.
- Understanding of USG acquisition regulations and processes.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude for complex, new, and disruptive products and services.
- Experience with complex deal structures.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong aptitude for cultivating working relationships at all levels of management.
- Robust project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement business development strategy for HHS, DOW, and related government agencies.
- Lead the sales cycle for automation products and services to wet labs within USG agencies.
- Craft innovative white papers, proposals, and pitches for government leadership.
- Create and shape business opportunities with government agencies and private sector partners.
- Lead government-funded pharma pipeline development and management activities.
- Map complex decision making processes and identify funding and award trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to scope project opportunities and align on strategic goals.
