Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Theology from a Catholic university.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing, evidenced by a letter from a Pastor or Parish Official.
- Prior classroom or instructional experience.
- Active teaching certification or license in the applicable subject area strongly preferred.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in a Catholic school preferred.
- Catechist Certification preferred.
- Experience teaching in an online or blended learning environment preferred.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, email, and video conferencing platforms.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Access to a PC or Mac with specified hardware requirements and reliable high-speed internet.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned caseload of students and monitor academic progress throughout the course lifecycle.
- Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and school partners, including regular progress updates.
- Grade assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Deliver engaging live virtual instruction when assigned.
- Monitor student performance and implement appropriate academic interventions.
- Collaborate with instructional leaders and internal stakeholders to support student success.
- Maintain accurate student records and complete required administrative tasks.
