Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in financial analytics, FP&A, data analytics, or business analytics.
- Strong experience with financial modeling, P&L analysis, unit economics, and variance analysis.
- Expert-level SQL proficiency.
- Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery.
- Strong experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for modeling and reporting.
- Solid understanding of accounting basics, financial statements, and key metrics like COGS and OpEx.
- Clear spoken and written English communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex financial insights to non-finance stakeholders and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve executive dashboards tracking revenue, profit, margins, COGS, OpEx, and cash flow.
- Analyze profitability across products, customers, geographies, channels, and lead sources.
- Develop P&L, contribution margin, and unit economics models for forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Identify cost leaks, vendor inefficiencies, and margin risks to improve overall business performance.
- Partner with finance, product, sales, and marketing teams to correlate business activity with financial outcomes.
- Reconcile business data with invoices, payment systems, taxes, and accounting records.
- Present clear recommendations to founders and senior leadership on pricing, cost optimization, and growth strategy.
