Requirements
- Proven experience as a finance leader, such as VP of Finance or senior finance operator.
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company environment.
- Hands-on operational capability to manage both strategy and day-to-day execution.
- Strong command of modern SaaS finance stacks including ERP, accounting, FP&A, billing, and BI tools.
- AI-forward mindset with experience using AI tools to automate and augment finance workflows.
- Ability to work closely with technical teams and understand their systems.
- Strong judgment, low ego, and high output in a fast-moving, low-oversight environment.
- Experience in fintech, lead gen, marketing, or financial services is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Own financial strategy and planning including financial models, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics.
- Manage the finance operation including accounting, month-end close, cash management, AP/AR, payroll, and audit readiness.
- Serve as a strategic partner to founders, converting ambiguous business questions into rigorous analysis.
- Lead fundraising and investor relations, including management of the data room and board reporting.
- Oversee compliance, tax, and risk management functions.
- Build and implement financial tools, controls, and processes to support company scaling.
