Requirements
- Substantial, hands-on programming experience in the systems environment being used.
- At least two years of directly applicable experience.
- At least three years of overall programming experience, including large-scale database management systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Undergraduate degree preferred, ideally in computer science or information management/technology.
- Broad knowledge of Government IT environments, including office automation networks, PC and server-based databases and applications.
- Experience in automated litigation support (preferred).
- Supervisory or team leader experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs to support litigation environment applications.
- Translate program requirements into program code.
- Test, debug, and refine programs to process data in accordance with written specifications.
- Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
- Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces.
- Implement standardized reports and create specialized/ad hoc reports.
