Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in programming.
- 1-2 years of experience in Data Science or Data/Business Analytics including Machine Learning.
- 1-2 years of experience applying Machine Learning to financial risk analysis.
- 2+ years of experience using Python.
- 2+ years of experience using SQL.
- Knowledge of Data Engineering practices.
- Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) services.
- Strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
- Passion for extracting insights and driving business decisions through data.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Develop and validate classification models including feature engineering and pipeline creation.
- Assess credit risk by generating credit scores or probability of default metrics.
- Utilize alternative data sources to build innovative credit risk solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams on technical decision-making and model development.
- Monitor deployed model performance and make adjustments based on market or behavioral changes.
- Research and integrate advancements in data science and machine learning.
