Requirements
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (Ecommerce preferred)
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper for Ecommerce businesses
- Strong understanding of multi-channel sales accounting
- Experience handling high-volume transactions
- Familiarity with inventory and COGS tracking
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online / Xero
- Experience with Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, Gusto, or Brex
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets / Excel
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote setup
- Bookkeeping certification or accounting coursework is a plus
- Experience working with US-based companies preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment processor accounts (Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Amazon, etc.)
- Track sales, refunds, chargebacks, fees, and taxes
- Record and reconcile inventory-related transactions
- Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Assist with sales tax/VAT reporting and compliance
- Support payroll processing and expense tracking
- Collaborate with management and CPA for month-end and year-end close
