Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant game industry experience.
- Senior-level experience creating high-quality UI motion, animation, and/or VFX for mobile F2P games.
- Strong portfolio showing polished reward feedback, celebration moments, transitions, and animated UI systems.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, easing, anticipation, follow-through, impact, staging, and rhythm.
- Ability to create motion that improves clarity and emotional payoff.
- Experience working with game engines, ideally Unity.
- Strong understanding of premium mobile game polish, F2P reward presentation, and player motivation.
- Comfortable collaborating with UI/UX Designers, Artists, Game Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers.
- Ability to iterate quickly based on feedback and production needs.
- Understanding of mobile performance considerations for animation, particles, and UI effects.
Responsibilities
- Create polished UI animations, transitions, and interaction feedback for mobile gameplay, menus, events, offers, and reward flows.
- Design reward and celebration VFX such as coin bursts, glows, sparkles, light sweeps, multipliers, prize reveals, and win moments.
- Bring static UI screens to life with strong timing, pacing, anticipation, impact, and readability.
- Partner with UI/UX Designers to improve hierarchy, clarity, and emotional impact through motion.
- Partner with Game Designers and Product to reinforce key player motivations such as rewards, progression, streaks, bonuses, and achievement.
- Work with Unity Engineers to implement, tune, and optimize UI animation and effects in-game.
- Help create reusable motion patterns and feedback systems that can scale across features.
- Maintain high visual quality while respecting mobile performance, memory, and production constraints.
