Requirements
- 7+ years of professional interior design experience
- Strong background in luxury residential and/or high-end commercial design
- Demonstrated experience working with custom millwork and architectural interiors
- Clear understanding of how millwork is constructed and installed
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and project-management skills
- Strong command of contemporary and modern design aesthetics
- Knowledgeable in lighting design and coordination
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
- Advanced proficiency in SketchUp
- Advanced proficiency in 3ds Max (or comparable rendering tools)
- Ability to produce or direct high-quality renderings and visual presentations
- Knowledge of Mozaik or millwork engineering software (asset)
- Experience working in design-driven, architect-led environments (asset)
Responsibilities
- Leading interior design projects from concept through execution
- Developing refined, contemporary design concepts aligned with Moralia’s aesthetic
- Acting as a primary client-facing lead on assigned projects
- Managing projects, timelines, and client accounts with professionalism and discretion
- Designing millwork-intensive interiors with a clear understanding of construction and detailing
- Coordinating lighting layouts and architectural interior elements
- Conducting site visits and site measurements as required
- Producing and reviewing high-quality drawings and presentations
- Overseeing and contributing to high-quality visualizations and renderings
