Senior Oracle Payroll Integrations Developer

7–10+ years of hands-on experience building Oracle Payroll integrations Deep practical knowledge of Oracle Payroll data structures (results, costing, balances, elements, etc.) Proficiency querying Oracle Payroll tables/schemas (PAY*/PY*) Advanced PL/SQL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, bulk operations, performance tuning) Strong experience with HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formulas, and BI Publisher Proven delivery using OIC or comparable middleware Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP/file pipelines, and secure integration patterns Experience with CI/CD (Git, build pipelines), automated testing, and secure secrets management Strong understanding of payroll compliance, data privacy/PII, and financial controls Excellent communication skills for remote, distributed teams Background integrating with banking, tax filing, GL/ERP, and benefits carriers Knowledge of GDPR and global payroll nuances

Design, implement, and maintain payroll integrations Query, analyze, and optimize Oracle Payroll data structures Write high-quality, performant code (PL/SQL, SQL, Java/JavaScript or Python) Build/maintain interfaces using Oracle tooling (HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher, OIC) Implement REST/SOAP services, SFTP/file-based integrations, webhooks Tune queries and jobs for high-volume payroll cycles Establish automated testing and reconcile outputs Instrument integrations with logging, metrics, and alerts Author technical specifications and promote CI/CD best practices Partner with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers
