Requirements:
Prior fellows have come from diverse backgrounds including early career researchers and mid-career engineers. No discrimination based on pedigree or age; interesting work is sufficient. Ability to work remotely from anywhere outside sanctioned jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
Focus on high-risk, ambitious AI/ML research projects. Spend 80% of time on own research. Spend up to 20% of time assisting other fellows or participating in wider research programs. Publish 1-2 papers with code annually, targeting top AI/ML conferences. Produce a final report or blog post if publication threshold is unmet.
