Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in accounting
- 2+ years of experience in a product management role
- Experience with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and their impact on product workflows
- Collaborative, detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills (internal teams and external customers)
- Product mindset with ability to turn complex requirements into elegant solutions
- Experience with accounting operations in a tech company (direct user experience with ERP or finance software systems) is a plus
- CPA certification is a plus
- Experience in a top 10 accounting firm is a plus
Responsibilities
- Act as subject matter expert on technical accounting topics
- Translate complex accounting workflows and compliance needs into product requirements
- Define, prioritize, and execute features aligned with customer needs and business goals
- Partner closely with engineers and designers to deliver accurate, intuitive solutions
- Gather feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and the market
- Create product documentation, release notes, and training materials
- Support QA and user acceptance testing for finance-related features
- Collaborate with EU-based developers, requiring time zone flexibility
