Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and SPA registration
Exceptional communication skills that enable you to work in a culturally rich and diverse environment and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment
Experience in working with children and/or in the disability sector and confidence in your role working closely with their families is highly valued
An understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
An ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people
Responsibilities:
Provide culturally sensitive, evidence-informed therapy and capacity building supports for children and families
Work within the multidisciplinary team of therapists and allied health assistants, to provide comprehensive supports for clients
Provide a mix of capacity building, coaching, 1:1 and small group therapy supports, education, consultation and wrap around supports
