Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a consumer brand, ideally in pet tech, lifestyle, or DTC/e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of all major social platforms and their analytics tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Passion for animals and interest in communication science and technology.
  • Experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
  • Comfortable creating and managing both organic and paid social campaigns.
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and data-informed with a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute FluentPet’s social media strategy to grow brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
  • Create original and engaging content tailored to each platform (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Manage the content calendar to align with product launches, campaigns, community highlights, and educational initiatives.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Leverage user-generated content and showcase success stories from FluentPet users.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer support, R&D) to maintain consistent brand messaging.
  • Analyze performance metrics and use data to inform content and strategy decisions.
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and pet influencer culture.
  • Manage influencer partnerships and identify new collaboration opportunities.
  • Work with creative and video teams to produce high-quality multimedia content.
