Requirements:

• Required 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Passionate about scaling Fintech systems that process billions of dollars.
• Ability to deliver production-ready code with high autonomy and minimal guidance.
• Enjoy working with SaaS technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, and AWS.
• Develop best practices for scalable systems and service-oriented applications.
• Payments and/or risk experience are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Build products that mitigate financial risk, prevent fraud and globalize faster payments transactions safely.
• Own end-to-end product development including architecture, implementation, review, testing, and iteration of Gusto’s Fintech product suite.
• Design highly scalable systems to drive business growth for safe movement of billions of dollars.
• Build platforms for fraud signal collection and anomaly detection.
• Drive processor agnostic 3rd party API integration for enhanced payment features.
