Chief Accounting Officer

Requirements:

• 15+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including experience as a CAO or Controller at a public company.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX compliance, and financial disclosure requirements.
• Strong expertise in complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, stock compensation, and M&A transactions.
• Proven experience managing external audits, internal controls, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Track record of improving accounting processes, implementing automation, and driving efficiencies.
• Experience overseeing accounting operations in multiple countries, managing transfer pricing, foreign exchange, and international tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, growth plans, and financial objectives.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial statements, SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q), and investor reporting.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, risk management processes, and governance structures.
• Drive continuous improvements in accounting systems, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage external audits and statutory country audits, and compliance, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements across global operations.
• Provide accounting leadership for acquisitions, integrations, and complex technical transactions.
• Partner with finance, investor relations, legal, and operations teams to support business objectives.
• Implement advanced accounting technologies and automation to streamline financial processes and reporting.
• Build and mentor a high-performing global accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
