Requirements:

• min. 5 years of commercial experience as a Back-End engineer, in which 3 years in Java/Kotlin
• Proven track record in designing IaaC services and systems that involve multiple microservices
• Experience in implementing and suggesting new solutions in the field of architecture
• Experience in building cloud products (it doesn't matter which one; Alfreð uses GCP) and testing (Alfreð loves Test Driven Development!)
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, Firebase etc.)
• Experience with distributed systems
• Experience with Kubernetes is preferred
• min. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Familiarizing with processes, code and architecture
• Responsibility for the Alfreð brand products, which includes both creating new features and maintaining the existing ones
• Improving existing solutions in order to make them more scalable
• Testing and focusing on the quality code
• Configuring and monitoring deployments and suggesting and implementing improvements to the setup
