Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in application security.
• Strong understanding of application security principles, including OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
• Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and security code analysis tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages like C++ and Python.
• Experience with cloud security and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability scans on applications, APIs, and other software components.
• Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Provide guidance and training to development teams on secure coding practices and industry best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends to ensure the company’s security posture remains strong.
