Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in medical billing.
- Strong knowledge of Veradigm Allscripts (Required).
- Experience with payment posting (electronic & paper remits).
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- English C1 level required (minimal accent).
- Experience with Practice Fusion (EHR) is a plus ā training provided.
Responsibilities:
- Process and submit claims through Veradigm Allscripts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle electronic and paper remits, input payments into deposit spreadsheets, and post payments from receipt books.
- Respond to patient inquiries via billing emails, assist with credit card vendor payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Manage billing appeals, call patients for payments due, and assist with collections.
- Work within Payer Path, ensuring claims flow correctly from Practice Fusion to Veradigm Allscripts and then to Payer Path.
