Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 year in a leadership role, ideally working closely with a mobile application team.
Extensive experience with test automation, CI/CD, and quality practices in agile development environments.
Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Maestro, Playwright, Espresso, XCUITest, Jest, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of test strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, API testing, load and performance testing, and end-to-end system testing.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions or CircleCI).
Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements within GDPR and privacy space.

Responsibilities:

Work with the engineering leaders to implement the overall quality assurance strategy for the organization, ensuring that all software products meet high-quality standards.
Drive the development, maintenance, and scaling of test automation frameworks and practices across multiple teams.
Work closely with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure that quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to software reaching maturity in production.
Work with teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage, from unit tests and integration tests to end-to-end system tests, across all software projects.
Manage and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement but also other discipline when need be, for example, supporting initiatives to improve collaboration on design and requirement quality.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the software process and its quality checks.
Identify and mitigate quality risks early in the development cycle.
Advocate for the continuous improvement of quality practices, methodologies, and tools, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Ensure that software quality practices are aligned with industry regulations and compliance standards relevant to fintech, such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and others.
