Requirements:
  • 7+ years of sales experience in federal cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or related technology solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing federal market share.
  • Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes, including contract vehicles, budgets, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong relationships within DoD, DHS, IC, and other federal agencies.
  • Experience working with federal resellers, system integrators, and channel partners.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for federal agencies, including DoD, DHS, IC, and civilian government entities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within federal agencies and system integrators.
  • Develop, manage, and expand accounts in the Department of Defense and US Intelligence Community.
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding federal sales quotas.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including federal CISOs, procurement officers, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Work closely with federal systems integrators, resellers, and channel partners to expand reach and sales impact.
  • Engage with government contracting officers and procurement teams to navigate the FedRAMP, FISMA, and DoD IL (Impact Level) compliance processes.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Leverage existing federal contract vehicles (GSA Schedule, SEWP, ESI, etc.) to streamline procurement.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates to executive leadership.
  • Stay ahead of federal cybersecurity mandates, regulations, and threat intelligence needs.
  • Represent the company at government-focused cybersecurity conferences, industry events, and meetings with agency leaders.
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to ensure alignment with federal market needs.
