Accounting Analyst

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in a staff accountant or general accounting position
• 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, billing procedures and collections processes.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Accounting software NetSuite is preferred and proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute monthly invoices
• Enter information into accounting software and document processes
• Post, verify, and record invoices, customer payments and transactions
• Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections
• Assist with month end, quarter end, and year end requests
• Complete special projects
• Maintain and update customer data
• Provide support and answer inquiries
• Achieve and maintain departmental standards
• Work effectively in a dynamic, hands-on start-up environment
