Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with concentrations in Business Management, Merchandising, Engineering, or Marketing
• 5-7 years of hard parts knowledge or technical skills in industry related fields (Heating required)
• 0-2 years of experience in merchandising, product development, sales, supply chain management, or other related fields
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and retail systems
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills
• Statistical analysis and data manipulation skills
• Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while remaining flexible in a high growth environment
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting

Responsibilities:

• Support the category strategies, which includes understanding industry trends, product assortments, and product reviews
• Make recommendations to the Category team on new products and brands to launch that align with the category strategy
• Review current products in the category as well as perform product life management for new and existing products
• Manage day to day vendor relationship activities and provide solutions to any topics that need resolution
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional departments to support the category strategy
• Assist with product promotions and educational strategies around new and existing products
• Help support the growth of sales for the categories supported through first to market ideas and the management of product positions
• Work with our customer base to gather insights and determine how to implement those insights
