Software Tester

Requirements:

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in IT
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in an Agile software development environment
• Minimum of 4 years of experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or equivalent to support software testing
• Minimum of 3 years of automating test cases using tools like Selenium WebDriver (C#), JMeter, SoapUI, etc.
• Experience with several types of software testing (e.g. functional, performance, security, etc.)
• Hands-on working experience creating test cases, test plans, test reports
• Experience in testing applications built on Power Platform is considered an asset
• ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification or equivalent will be considered an asset
• A strong understanding of software architecture and network technologies that facilitates white-box testing, including security testing, will be considered an asset

Responsibilities:

• Ability to use a disciplined approach for planning, designing, executing and reporting on software testing
• Working in an Agile software development, Microsoft Team Foundation Server or equivalent to support software testing
• Develop several types of software testing (e.g. functional, performance, security, etc.)
• Hands-on working on creating test cases, test plans, test reports
• Preparation of technical documentation
