Requirements:
  • At least 3-4 years as a Risk Analyst
  • Experience in financial services/consumer banking, fintech/BNPL (desirable)
  • Experience in Fraud Risk and Technology Risk highly desired
  • A positive mindset paired with a strong bias to action

Responsibilities:
  • Using the Zip Risk Management Framework to reinforce risk responsibilities and guide the business in managing risks.
  • Operationalising Zip’s Risk Appetite Statement including risk indicators.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with functional areas, such as Information Security and Engineering, to monitor risk profiles against and actions to be taken.
  • Building and strengthening relationships with business stakeholders to aid in identifying risks and control improvements
  • Providing guidance to the business on appropriate controls related to change management  and treatment plans for addressing incidents and control deficiencies
  • Conducting monitoring & testing activities over key processes & controls within the business, including Information Security and other technology teams 
  • Conducting process mapping exercises, including conducting workshops, documenting process steps, identifying risks and controls.
  • Reviewing, updating and enhancing risk frameworks, policies and supporting documents, including Fraud Risk and Technical Risk
  • Identifying and collecting data to form risk insights, including key risk indicators, key control indicators and risk appetite metrics.
  • Conduct assessment of controls effectiveness and operational design.
  • Contributing to reporting provided to Risk Committees (at Management and Board level).
