Requirements:
- Experience in backend development (ideally with Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS etc.).
- Experience in leading, developing or mentoring developers.
- In-depth understanding of software architectures, cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps principles.
- Very good German language skills and strong communication skills.
- Empathy and the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- Ability to switch between the roles of coach & developer and to bring them into harmony.
- Willingness to set impulses for personal and professional development without exercising direct leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Support developers in their professional and personal development.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings for reflection, goal setting and motivation.
- Consolidate stakeholder feedback, derive development goals and show potential.
- Conduct performance reviews and design and communicate fair, performance-based compensation.
- Be responsible for the recruiting of new backend developers - from the selection process to onboarding and integration into the team.
- Be a sparring partner for technical and personal questions.
- Set impulses for an open, respectful and constructive corporate culture.
