Requirements:
  • At least 8+ years as an Enterprise Risk Manager
  • Experience in financial services/consumer banking, fintech/BNPL (desirable)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • An ability to build interpersonal relationships with, and influence key stakeholders across the business and internal Legal, Compliance and Enterprise Risk teams in US and ANZ
Responsibilities:
  • Using the Zip Risk Management Framework to reinforce risk management responsibilities across US Zip and guide the business in managing risks
  • Coordinating required enterprise risk management activities and duties (including process mapping) with the Group Enterprise Risk Management team based in Australia while driving the framework implementation in the US
  • Leading the continued effort in creating, refining and updating Zip’s US Risk Appetite Statement with senior leaders and Group Risk Team
  • Identifying and collecting data to form risk insights, including key risk indicators, key control indicators and risk appetite metrics
  • Collaborating and coordinating with functional areas to monitor business risk profiles and ensure appropriate actions are taken to reduce the risks
  • Building and strengthening relationships with business stakeholders to aid in identifying risks and control improvements
  • Providing expert risk advice to the business
  • Providing guidance to the business on appropriate remediation and treatment plans for addressing incidents and control deficiencies
  • Conducting risk assessment activities over key processes & controls within the business
  • Reviewing, updating and enhancing risk frameworks, policies and supporting documents
  • Designing and leading effective risk governance reporting for Risk Committees (at Management and Board level)
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of risk education, awareness and training
  • Promoting Zip’s desired risk culture
