Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle RAC and MySQL RDBMS administration;
• Deep expertise in RAC/Dataguard maintenance, database installations/upgrades, backup/restore, performance tuning, permissions, and security;
• Strong experience working with Linux-based environments;
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, Ruby) for automation;

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the stability, performance, and development of Oracle/MySQL databases;
• Maintain and optimize Oracle RAC and MySQL RDBMS administration, including RAC/Dataguard maintenance, DB installations/upgrades, backups/restores, tuning, permissions, and security;
• Work closely with R&D teams to support new and ongoing data-related projects;
• Improve database reliability, scalability, and performance by implementing best practices;
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and auto-remediation solutions for database operations;
• Optimize data pipelines and large-scale data processing workflows;
• Automate database administration tasks using scripting languages (Shell, Python, Ruby);
• Work with Linux-based systems for database deployment and maintenance;
