J.D. and license to practice law in at least one state
At least 4 years relevant experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial and technology agreements (e.g., enterprise sales agreements, data processing agreements, SaaS agreements, etc) and partnership agreements (e.g., service partner agreements, reseller agreements, referral agreements, etc.)
Collaborative approach, with strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others
Strong work ethic and comfort operating in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with a willingness to tackle projects both large and small
Understanding of privacy issues in commercial transactions
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with a wide array of customers, working closely with our sales team and relevant stakeholders
Support our partnership team in signing on strategic partners and advise our education team on contracting with schools
Collaborate to design, implement, and improve Figma’s legal policies and procedures to manage legal and business risk
Help drive legal and go-to-market contracting strategy, including advising the business on legal risks
