Minimum of 3+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on government contracts, preferably in a law firm, in-house or government agency setting.
Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), agency-specific regulations, and other laws governing government contracts.
Strong knowledge of state and local procurement laws, regulations, and procedures, including experience with public sector contracting and regulatory compliance
Responsibilities:
Advise clients on all aspects of government contracting, including contract formation, negotiation, performance, and termination, and provide support to clients on government contracts-related issues as they arise.
Assist clients in navigating government procurement processes, including bid protests, requests for proposals (RFPs), and contract disputes.
Provide legal counsel on compliance matters related to government contracts, including applicable regulations, such as FAR and DFARS, certifications, and reporting requirements.
Provide legal counsel and support to clients on all aspects of state and local government contracting, including bid preparation, proposal submission, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
Advise clients on regulatory compliance matters related to state and local government procurement, including adherence to applicable statutes, regulations, and policies.
