Requirements:

• Prior experience working at an accounting firm, providing a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial best practices.
• Proven experience serving as the finance lead (e.g., Finance Manager, Controller, or Head of Finance) at a seed-stage or higher technology startup.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a wide range of finance and accounting responsibilities, from strategic planning to hands-on bookkeeping and transaction management.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to new challenges and wearing multiple hats as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (advanced degree or MBA is a plus).

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
• Manage all financial reporting, ensure tax compliance, and coordinate audits (both internal and external) to maintain transparency and accuracy.
• Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and accounting policies, safeguarding assets and ensuring accurate financial records.
• Optimize cash flow management and overall financial strategy to ensure the organization’s sustainability and growth.
• Work closely with the leadership team, providing insights and strategic recommendations based on financial data and industry trends.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements in every jurisdiction we operate.
