Requirements:
- Prior experience in marketing operations, martech, data engineering or a related field
- Ability to translate business goals into actionable martech strategies and roadmaps with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of data's role in marketing and familiarity with key martech concepts like data pipelines, ingestion processes, attribution modelling, real-time personalization, and data visualization platforms. You also have familiarity with data privacy and security regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Ability to measure and demonstrate the impact of martech initiatives on business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences, including business stakeholders and technical teams.
- A strong team player with proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different departments (technical and business).
- Strong understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, including websites, apps, and various marketing channels.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile project management methodologies
Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize martech projects aligned with business needs and strategic goals.
- Develop detailed project plans and collaborate with technical teams on implementation.
- Write product requirements documents (PRDs) and review technical RFCs (requests for comments) from engineering, as well as sign off on user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Oversee the implementation and integration of marketing automation platforms and other martech tools with our core data platforms..
- Analyze marketing data and reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Manage project development, resolve roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead project meetings and manage a cross-functional team of marketing, analytics, martech, software, and data engineering professionals.
- Communicate project updates and results to stakeholders at all levels (including the Martech Senior Director and, at times, Marketing and Engineering VPs).
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging martech trends.
