- Proven experience as a translator, reviewer, or similar role
- Native-level proficiency in Danish and excellent command of English.
- Strong writing, communication, and proofreading skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and ability to adapt content accordingly.
- Familiarity with CAT tools is a plus.
- Understanding of the challenges and considerations when working with MT or AI-generated content.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine concise, user-friendly messaging for KAYAK’s features and unique selling propositions (USPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a unified product positioning and messaging framework.
- Audit and update existing product messaging to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with KAYAK’s brand strategy.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Review, proofread, and resolve linguistic issues in translations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to guidelines.
- Ensure all translations meet the brand's quality standards and are culturally appropriate for the target audience.
- Provide feedback to translators and collaborate in maintaining language-specific style guides and glossaries.
- Evaluate the quality of Machine Translation (MT) or AI-generated content, and fully localize the content to improve the user engagement.
