Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in a performance marketing role with 5+ years of experience focused on Amazon.
  • Owned a six-figure-plus monthly Amazon Ads budget for a large, omni-channel CPG brand(s).
  • Amazon media maestro with a track record of scaling campaigns using multiple Amazon Ads products, including but not limited to Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Amazon DSP, Amazon Attribution, and Amazon Marketing Cloud. Experience with Amazon Streaming TV preferred.
  • Deep understanding of how Amazon Ads products work together to drive performance, as well as the ability to clearly model attribution across these products.
  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to break down complex strategies into clear, actionable plans and measurable results.
  • Experience collaborating with cross functional stakeholders (such as creative, product marketing, and data analytics teams) to improve performance outcomes.
  • Self-starter who is deeply curious about Amazon and the broader retail media landscape.
  • Experience managing additional retail media networks, Google, Meta, or managing other growth marketing programs for Amazon (such as an influencer or affiliate program).
Responsibilities:
  • Amazon Performance Marketing: Own the strategy, implementation, and execution of all Amazon channel media to drive awareness, conversion, and retention for Seed products.
  • Budget Allocation: Help determine and effectively allocate budget across Amazon Ads products to drive optimal results.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics, such as ROAS, TACOS, contribution margin, and LTV.
  • Drive Experimentation: Own the roadmap and implement iterative testing across bid strategies, ad formats, creative, and audiences to identify winning tactics.
  • Improve Channel Understanding: Support broader marketing analytics and attribution projects that help Seed understand the impact of Amazon marketing campaigns across retail channels.
  • Stay Relevant: Remain up-to-date on Amazon Advertising trends and best practices. Build relationships with Amazon Advertising representatives to gain early access to betas, tools, and features.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the POC and Seed SME for Amazon performance marketing with Seed’s Amazon vendor.
