AI Research Engineer

Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as an AI research engineer, or more than 2 years of experience with a PhD.
• Extensive expertise in deep learning fundamentals including model validation, regression, and classification techniques.
• Strong knowledge in at least one of NLP, Information Retrieval, Conversational AI, or Computer Vision.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience.
• Knowledge of version control systems, e.g., Git.
• Proficiency in PyTorch.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate, assess, and refine cutting-edge AI models.
• Act as a bridge between research and production.
• Improve the research codebase, advocating for code reuse and best practices.
• Manage large datasets, overseeing acquisition, labeling, and data loaders.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to deploy models in production.
• Contribute to the design of advanced internal tools and technologies.
• Work with Product Engineering teams to address AI needs.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and share knowledge with the team.
