• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a small team of designers.
• Deep expertise with Figma and design system management tools.
• A strategic mindset focused on design scalability and continuous improvement.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Solid understanding of systems thinking and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with data-informed decision-making in design operations.

Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve Watson, ensuring scalability, accessibility, and flexibility for product teams.
• Lead and manage a team of two designers, providing mentorship and ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Oversee the maintenance and growth of component libraries, documentation, and design tokens.
• Champion accessibility standards and foster a culture of inclusive design.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Create resources, host workshops, and provide training for design system adoption.
• Drive innovation and explore new tools and techniques for design system improvement.
• Maintain and optimize Figma structure and workflows.
• Create metrics and feedback loops to measure effectiveness and enhance the design system continuously.
