3-5 years of UK accounting and bookkeeping experience is required, preferably in an accounting or bookkeeping firm.
Expert-level proficiency in Xero is necessary; Xero certification is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros, is required.
Familiarity with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations.
CPA qualification is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of bookkeeping and accounting for clients, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing VAT returns.
Act as the primary point of contact for approximately 25 unique clients each month, building relationships and providing expert advice.
Leverage advanced knowledge of Xero and Excel to optimize workflows, assist clients, and troubleshoot issues.
Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior team members and collaborating with stakeholders for service delivery.
Ensure compliance with UK accounting regulations and stay updated on tax laws.
Identify process improvement opportunities and stay current with industry trends.
